The cabin is beautiful and quite large- larger than what I was expecting. Doug and Donna have gone to great measures to make sure that you enjoy all the amenities (we really enjoyed the hot tub and the views- OMG the views are to die for!!) of the property as well as the local area around. The cabin itself is very nice. There are four either double, queen, or king bed sleeps eight as well as a pull out sofa if needed. They’ve got quite a few games for you to enjoy while at the cabin or you can go out and explore the surrounding area. Great cabin for a little getaway. My only complaint is actually not with the cabin itself. It’s where it’s located- It can be a little hard to find. I do not recommend coming up at night. The roads are labeled, but not that great and it can be very easy to get lost or turned around if unfamiliar with the area. The only recommendation I might make as an improvement is an area for you to turn vehicles around. Because of how the driveway is, you pull in facing the cabin and then have to back out onto the street. You basically have to do a 12 point turn in order to get the vehicle, facing the correct direction to go down the mountain again versus backing down the mountain and there are some steep ditches on either side of the mountain roads. Past this- there are no other complaints and not only would I stay there again but I’d recommend it to friends and family.
