We absolutely love this cabin. Over the years we’ve stayed in many north Georgia cabins and this is one of our favorites. First of all, it’s not far from Ellijay, where you can load up on all your necessities before you arrive, and it’s remote enough that you really feel like you’re out in the woods, away from civilization. Upon arriving, there’s plenty of room for multiple vehicles to park comfortably, and the cabin itself looks really new and inviting. There’s a wraparound porch, with plenty of rocking chairs, that literally wraps all the way around to the back. The property itself is a good size with a cleared backyard, fire pit, and comfortable chairs to rest in.
If you have little ones, there’s even a swing set for them. The inside is decorated in keeping with the spirit of a mountain cabin, everything from the hardwood floors, to the wooden paneling, to the furniture, to the bedspreads, to the pillows. You will love the look! It’s big and airy with great views of the forested mountainside. There’s a nice big kitchen with plenty of room for multiple people cooking at the same time. The downstairs has a pool table, bar, laundry area, and big bedroom and bathroom. The master bedroom has a nice big bathroom, and private deck for morning coffee and beautiful views. Besides a hot tub, there are two big, jetted, garden tubs in the bathrooms.
And you know how you struggle in a new place with turning on the light switches and not knowing what switch controls what light? Not here. Every switch is meticulously labeled so you know exactly what switch to flip. What attention to detail! We loved it, and can’t wait to get back!
