Our weekend in the cabin was wonderful and is in a quiet, beautiful location. I took several pictures of a deer and fawn walking below the back balcony, and we could hear the birds and see hundreds of fireflies at night. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we used the gas grill several times. It is a 20-25 minute drive to Ellijay or Blue Ridge, so be sure to stock up on essentials before you start cooking! My father-in-law has difficulty with stairs, so the master bedroom on the main floor was perfect for him. Another master bedroom is on the floor upstairs, so we enjoyed it with the private balcony attached to it. Our kids loved the fire pit, cornhole, and hot tub. The owners took care of every detail and provided a great book of nearby attractions. I can’t remember a better weekend away in the mountains!
