Don’t forget to grab a starter log and charcoal for the park grill and take a look at these recipes perfect for the firepit or grill! Easy Cabin meals

Why do you charge extra for over 6 guests?
To maintain lower costs for most of our bookings, which accommodate six or fewer guests, we have reduced our nightly rates by $20-40 for groups up to six. Although the cabin can sleep eight, we aim to prevent smaller parties from incurring the costs associated with larger groups of 7 or 8, which typically use more utilities and contribute to increased wear and tear.
What is your pet policy?
While we love animals, our pet policy is to keep our cabin pet-free especially for those who may have allergy sensitivities. We understand that most people have well-behaved fur babies, but in order to accommodate those who are allergic to pets, we want to maintain a pet-free policy. There are some really good local dog boarding facilities located within a half hour of the cabin. Evolutionary K-9 offers overnight and extended stay boarding for a minimal fee. They have very good ratings and are well respected within the community. For current prices and more information visit Evolutionary K9

Do you need all wheel drive to make it to the cabin?
All-wheel or 4-wheel drive is not required to ascend the roughly one-third mile to the cabin. The approach is via a gravel road, which may be somewhat uneven. Those unaccustomed to country or rural roads might find it slightly daunting, but it is indeed safe and manageable. Most of our guests, who have front-wheel drive vehicles, have reached the cabin without any issues. A helpful tip is to shift your vehicle into first gear as you approach the final stretch for better traction. The driveway accommodates 3-4 vehicles comfortably, depending on their size.
Here’s a short video showing the actual drive to the cabin.
